| Hello again, people! Chris Robison is back in town! At this authorized site, recordings from various Robison projects -both past and future -will be available to you...where to start well, Chris has always been all over the map -He was a member of the New York Dolls for a year and toured Japan with them. Chris was also a member of Steam and Elephant's Memory before that fun gig. He's recorded with John and Yoko, Keith Richards, John Phillips, Robert Gordon, Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons when they were called Wicked Lester. Robison also was a member of The Velvert Turner Group Velvert was a side kick of Jimi Hendrix Scottie Niles was in that line up, later of the Knack. also Tim McGovern later of the Motels. After the Dolls, Chris formed the band Stumblebunny and toured Europe 2nd billing to The Hollies.... During all this Chris decided to record and release two gay albums, MANY HAND BAND and MANCHILD way back in '73 and '74, which brought him international recognition and endless headaches.....too early, Chris..... Years later as a single father he released PAPA CHRIS AND STEVE, a kid's CD that got a rave review from Moira McCormick of Billboard. Many of these classic recordings - and future work as well will be available here including a classical / new age piano music CD of original Robison songs that are just great for traffic jams and for drifting off to sleep or wherever you're drifting off to... |
